This graph indicates the unionization rates among men and women in three different age groups: 25 to 54 years, 55 to 64 years and 65 years and over. Information is given for 1997, 2000 and 2004. In both elderly men and women, we observe an increase in the unionization rates. For example, around 12% of male workers were unionized between 1997 and 2004. In 2004, this proportion grew to nearly 20%. The evolution of unionization rates between 1997 and 2004 were relatively similar for both women and men.
