Frequency of contact with relatives, by age group, 2003

This graph shows that the elderly have more frequent social contacts with relatives than the youngest people. As such, 43% of those between 65 and 74 years and 45% of people aged 75 years and over see their relatives a few times or more per week, compared to 38% of people 25 to 54 years of age. The same association goes for the likelihood of frequently talking to relatives on the telephone.
