Seniors who received help with indoor housework because of a long-term health condition: sources of help, 2002

This graph shows the main sources of assistance for elderly people who received assistance with work inside the house due to a long-term health problem. The main source of assistance was a paid employee (around 25%), followed by a spouse (approx. 22%). We note that the elderly were more likely to receive help from their daughter (17%) than their son (8%) for internal housework.
