In all age groups (25 to 54 years, 55 to 64 years, 65 to 74 years, 75 years and over), the proportion of people who had searched for information on a political issue was higher among people who held a university degree than those who had not earned their high school diploma. In more general terms, in all age groups, the higher the level of education, the greater the probability that a person searched for information on a political issue. To illustrate, around 9% of those in the 65 to 74 age group who did not earn their high school diploma had searched for information on a political issue, versus 38% of people who had a university degree.
