Many persons have worked on this web-based version of the Report on the Demographic Situation in Canada. The Report was first published in 1985.
I would first like to thank Anne Milan and Carol D’Aoust who were both instrumental in the data analysis, writing, validation, editing and revision of the different articles. Thank you as well to employees of the Demographic Analysis and Projections Section and the Demographic Estimates Section within Demography Division for their contribution, expertise and advice on data and analysis of the different articles of the Report.
I would also like to thank Dissemination Division for the design, validation and HTML production of this web page which aims to become a “demographic portal”.
