The Daily. Wednesday, June 20, 2001 Crushing statisticsMay 2001Canadian oilseed processors crushed 168 194 metric tonnes of canola in May, according to the monthly survey of crushing plants. Oil production totalled 69 662 tonnes, while meal production amounted to 104 642 tonnes. In the first 10 months of the 2000/2001 crop year, the canola crush volume was 2 588 626 tonnes, up 2% from 2 536 242 tonnes in the same 10 months of 1999/2000.
