Tuesday, October 23, 2001 Shipments of rolled steelAugust 2001Rolled steel shipments totalled 1 243 250 metric tonnes in August, up 8.9% from 1 142 000 tonnes in July but down 4.6% from 1 303 082 tonnes in August 2000. Year-to-date shipments to the end of August totalled 9 632 571 tonnes, down 5.3% from 10 171 445 tonnes (revised) in the same period of 2000. Available on CANSIM: table 3030010.
