Thursday, March 21, 2002 Steel primary formsWeek ending March 16, 2002 (preliminary)Steel primary forms production for the week ending March 16 totalled 322 292 metric tonnes, up 5.8% from 304 652 tonnes a week earlier and up 10.4% from 291 887 tonnes in the same week of 2001. The year-to-date total at the end of the reference week was 3 333 185 tonnes, a 11.7% increase compared with 2 985 188 in the same period of 2001.
