Consumer Price Index, September 2004 
The 12-month increase in the Consumer Price Index slowed slightly to 1.8% in September from 1.9% in August.

Social anxiety disorder – beyond shyness, 2002
Social anxiety disorder, aptly described as "crippling shyness," usually begins in childhood or early adolescence, and the symptoms often persist for decades, a new study shows. The study provides further evidence supporting the description of the disorder as an "illness of lost opportunities."
