Thursday, February 24, 2005 Perspectives on Labour and IncomeFebruary 2005 online edition The February 2005 online edition of Perspectives on Labour and Income, released today, features the article "The rising profile of women academics." The study looks at the growth in the number of women teaching full-time at Canadian universities between 1990/91 and 2002/03, examining changes in their representation by academic rank, tenure status, and field of instruction. Also in this issue is an overview of the labour market since 2000 with a focus on 2004, as well as the first of a new series of fact sheets on issues related to taxation. The last two items are available free of charge. The February 2005 online edition of Perspectives on Labour and Income, Vol. 6, no. 2 (75-001-XIE, $6/$52) is now available.
