Traveller accommodation services price indexes

Statistics Canada today publishes monthly indexes for the second quarter of 2005 that measure price movements of accommodation services. These indexes reflect changes in room rates, excluding all indirect taxes, for overnight or short stays with no meals or other services provided. The indexes are available by province and by territory, for Canada, by major client group.
