The international travel account release for the first quarter of 2007, published on May 29, 2007, was not based on the most up-to-date estimates of the seasonal patterns of travel receipts and payments.
The errors were marginal and did not affect the trend analysis. The non-seasonally adjusted data were not affected.
The balance of payments and gross domestic product releases, published on May 30 and May 31, 2007, respectively, used the correct data for travel receipts and payments.
A revised release for the international travel account, which contains the corrected data, has been loaded on our website for the May 29 issue of The Daily.
