Aboriginal peoples living off-reserve and the labour market, 2007
The employment rate of Aboriginal people between 25 and 54 years of age living off-reserve in the 10 provinces was 70.1% in 2007, less than the 82.5% for non-Aboriginal people. The difference between the employment rates for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people in this age group was smallest in Alberta and largest in Saskatchewan.

Study: Changing profile of adults in custody, 2006/2007
The number of adults admitted to provincial/territorial custody to await trial or sentencing continued to increase in 2006/2007, while the number admitted to sentenced custody continued to drop. In addition, females and Aboriginal people are accounting for a greater proportion of adults admitted to custody.
