May 2009 (Previous release)

In May, monthly lumber production by sawmills decreased 3.7% compared with April to 3 555.2 thousand cubic metres. Compared with May 2008, lumber production declined 26.0%

In May, sawmills shipped 3 685.5 thousand cubic metres of lumber, down 3.1% from April.
