Gross domestic product by industry, January 2010

Real gross domestic product advanced 0.6% in January, a fifth consecutive monthly increase. Goods-producing industries increased 1.3%, largely on the strength of manufacturing and construction, while the production of services advanced 0.4%.

Payroll employment, earnings and hours, January 2010 

In January, total hours worked by payroll employees increased by 0.3%. At the same time, non-farm payroll employment was virtually unchanged.
