Total operating revenue (excluding subsidies) for 10 of Canada's largest urban transit properties rose 9.3% from August 2009 to $209.8 million in August.
These 10 companies represent about 80% of total urban transit across the country.
Ridership levels rose to 107.9 million passenger trips in August, up 3.7% from the same month a year earlier.
