Investment in new housing construction for Canada decreased 2.2% compared with August 2017. Newfoundland and Labrador down 25.5%, Prince Edward Island up 22.8%, Nova Scotia up 8.6%, New Brunswick down 0.9%, Quebec up 0.6%, Ontario down 5.8%. Manitoba up 1.5%. Saskatchewan down 32.7%, Alberta down 7.0%, British Columbia up 8.0%, Yukon up 10.1%, Northwest Territories down 8.8%, Nunavut down 40.7%.
