Chart 3  Children and adolescents are most likely to participate in organized sports

This chart shows vertical bars for males and females for nine age groups: 5 to 10, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64, and 65 and over. Each bar shows the percentage of the age group that regularly participates in organized sports. The data show that organized sports participation is highest among 15 to 19-year-olds and decreases with age thereafter.
