Chart 26.4 is a bar chart showing the annual percentage change in retail sales by volume in 2010 and 2011 for 30 countries.

In both years, Chile recorded the highest percentage increase in retail sales, 16.1% in 2010 and 11.0% in 2011. Luxembourg followed, with sales growth of 9.6% in 2010 and 8.0% in 2011.

The OECD average was a 3.4% increase in 2010 and a 2.0% increase in 2011.

In 2010, Canada ranked sixth, with retail trade up 5.3%. In 2011, Canada ranked twelfth, with sales up 1.9%.

Greece recorded the sharpest decline in both years. Its retail sales fell 6.2% in 2010 and another 10.2% in 2011.
