Marginal effects of selected characteristics on probability of low and high relative earnings in new jobs compared with long-term job (LTJ) in paid employment, by age group at LTJ exit, male workers aged 50 or older, Canada, 1994 to 2010
Table summary
This table shows results from two sets of regressions: one models the probability that earnings in post-long-term-job paid employment compared to earnings in the long-term job are low (less than 25 percent), another models the probability that this earnings ratio is high (75 percent or more). The table presents marginal effects on the probabilities described above based on coefficients estimated with probit models. The row headers list the covariates included in the models. The column headers identify the models, whether low or high earnings ratio, and the age at long-term-job exit in five-year groups for which separate models were estimated.
