Canadian direct investment abroad

Canadian direct investment abroad is a case where the direct investor is Canadian and the direct investment enterprise is foreign, that is, a Canadian company invests in a foreign company and owns at least 10% of the voting shares. Outward FAS describes the activities and financial positions of these foreign direct investment enterprises when they are majority-owned (at least 50% of voting shares owned) by a Canadian direct investor.
