Foreign direct investment in Canada

Foreign direct investment in Canada is a case where the direct investor is foreign and the direct investment enterprise is Canadian, that is, a foreign company invests in a Canadian company and owns at least 10% of the voting shares. Inward FAS describes the activities and financial positions of these Canadian direct investment enterprises when they are majority-owned (at least 50% of voting shares owned) by a foreign direct investor.
