Totals (number or hectares) presented in this table sum the values for census consolidated subdivisions (CCS) within the 100 km buffer zone established for the Thousand Islands Ecosystem or the Thousand Islands Ecosystem boundary. These sums may be underestimates since some CCS data were confidential or were too unreliable to be published, and are as such treated as zeros. The United States portion of the Thousand Islands Ecosystem and the 100 km buffer zone is outside the scope of this analysis.
