Data on full-time equivalent educators for Ontario for 2002/2003 through 2005/2006 are not directly comparable with those for 1997/1998 through 2001/2002 because of changes in methodology in 2002/2003, which also affects the student-educator ratio. This change for Ontario also affects data comparability at the Canada level. 3. Nunavut was created on April 1, 1999. Prior to that date, data for Nunavut were included with data for the Northwest Territories. This creates a break in series for the Northwest Territories in 1999/2000. Notes: Due to the nature of ESESP data collection, these data are updated on an ongoing basis and are therefore subject to further revisions. The data presented in this table were updated as of March 10, 2008. These data are for public schools only and do not include private schools, federal schools and schools for the visually and hearing impaired.
