Bipolar I disorder, social support and work

The article “Bipolar I disorder, social support and work” is the second of several articles to be released this fall in Focus on Mental Health, this year’s annual supplement to Health Reports’ How Healthy are Canadians? series.

Estimates of the prevalence of symptoms consistent with bipolar I disorder among Canadians aged 15 or older are presented. The analysis focuses on factors associated with employment among people who have the disorder.
