This vertical bar chart illustrates the percentage of Canadians diagnosed with asthma by age group and sex in 2010.

The y-axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of two from 0 to 14.

Along the x-axis are the age groups. From left to right, the age groups are: Total; 12 to 19; 20 to 34; 35 to 44; 45 to 54; 55 to 64; 65 to 74; and 75 or older.

Each age category shows two vertical bars; one for males and one for females.

Of Canadians all ages, 7.14% of males, and 9.78% of females were diagnosed with asthma.

Of Canadians aged 12 to 19, 11.37% of males, and 10.82% of females were diagnosed with asthma.

Of Canadians aged 20 to 34, 8.48% of males, and 10.46% of females were diagnosed with asthma.

Of Canadians aged 35 to 44, 6.29% of males, and 9.1% of females were diagnosed with asthma.

Of Canadians aged 45 to 54, 5.77% of males, and 10.39% of females were diagnosed with asthma.

Of Canadians aged 55 to 64, 5.1% of males, and 10.39% of females were diagnosed with asthma.

Of Canadians aged 65 to 74, 6.25% of males, and 8.24% of females were diagnosed with asthma.

Of Canadians aged 75 or older, 6.22% of males, and 6.96% of females were diagnosed with asthma.
