Data on paid hours and financial data for residential care facilities may include amounts related to activities that are outside the scope of residential care, such as outpatient or hospital care. This phenomenon is not widespread outside of Quebec, but in this province, such situations are more likely. For this reason, financial data pertaining to non-residential care activities in Quebec were statistically removed. Nevertheless, caution should be exercised in comparison with data from other provinces.
