Chart 7 Description: This is a line chart with each line representing an age group. These lines travel across the X-axis categories of province and intersect the disability rate at each province.

The age groups each represented by a line are 25 to 44 years, 45 to 64 years, 65 to 74 years, and 75 years and over.

On the X axis the provinces listed from left to right are Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

The Y axis is measured by percentage and increases in increments of ten starting at 0 up to 70.

Age group 25 to 44 accounts for 8.6% of the disability rate in Newfoundland, 8.7% in Prince Edward Island, 10.9% in Nova Scotia, 9.8% in New Brunswick, 5.5% in Quebec, 8.7% in Ontario, 8.9% in Manitoba, 8.8% in Saskatchewan, 8.1% in Alberta and 9.1% in British Columbia.

Age group 45 to 64 accounts for 19.2% of the disability rate in Newfoundland, 21.1% in Prince Edward Island, 26.4% in Nova Scotia, 22.3% in New Brunswick, 12.4% in Quebec, 20.6% in Ontario, 20.1% in Manitoba, 19.5% in Saskatchewan, 18.8% in Alberta and 19.7% in British Columbia.

Age group 65 to 74 accounts for 31.0% of the disability rate in Newfoundland, 35.6% in Prince Edward Island, 43.1% in Nova Scotia, 37.7% in New Brunswick, 22.3% in Quebec, 36.7% in Ontario, 35.6% in Manitoba, 36.5% in Saskatchewan, 36.9% in Alberta and 35.8% in British Columbia.

Age group 75 and over accounts for 55.3% of the disability rate in Newfoundland, 63.2% in Prince Edward Island, 64.4% in Nova Scotia, 57.4% in New Brunswick, 45.5% in Quebec, 60.1% in Ontario, 59.9% in Manitoba, 60.0% in Saskatchewan, 60.0% in Alberta and 57.5% in British Columbia.
