The map shows the employment rates in 2021 for the five CMAs with the highest employment rates, as follows, from east to west: Québec (62.0%), Montréal (60.7%), Regina (61.4%), Saskatoon (63.0%) and Calgary (60.8%).

The map shows the employment rates in 2021 for the five most populated CMAs, as follows, from east to west: Montréal (60.7%), Ottawa–Gatineau (59.6%), Toronto (56.1%), Calgary (60.8%) and Vancouver (60.0%).
