Insights on Canadian Society (ICS) is Statistics Canada's flagship social publication, which brings together a wide range of data sources to provide information on various aspects of Canadian society, including labour, income, education, social, and demographic issues that affect the lives of Canadians.
In the interest of modernising the dissemination of social insights, Statistics Canada is expanding ICS to include a Special Edition, which will offer diverse products, like shorter analytical articles, so that readers can interactively examine different facets of our stories under a broad theme. As part of this initiative, virtual group discussions were held to seek feedback on the Special Edition's utility and accessibility, to better understand its relevancy and value to readers.
