Individuals and organizations—both governmental and non-governmental—are invited to provide feedback on the relevance and usefulness of the data and insights presented in the analytical portrait reports on the six largest racialized population groups in Canada. We are also interested in understanding how these reports inform their work and assessing the extent of their impact.

The feedback collected will help assess the usefulness, impact and reach of the reports, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide future analytical and dissemination activities.

Background

Statistics Canada's Centre for Population and Social Statistics has published a series of analytical portrait reports on the six largest racialized population groups in Canada: Black, South Asian, Filipino, Chinese, Latin American, and Arab populations. Developed to inform Canada's Anti-Racism Strategy, these reports were released between October 2024 and June 2026. The reports provide in-depth insights into the sociodemographic and ethnocultural diversity of these groups. Most of the reports also examine socioeconomic outcomes, drawing on data from the Census of Population and other Statistics Canada sources.
