Additional data elements on the Express Entry system, up to and including the year 2022, are now included in the Longitudinal Immigration Database (IMDB) to allow analysis of the economic outcomes of those who apply to this system.
Statistics Canada integrated the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada data on Express Entry into the IMDB. The Express Entry system manages immigration applications for skilled workers coming to Canada (Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program). These applicants' competencies and qualifications were extensively evaluated before admission.
