The 2019/2020 "Canadian Health Survey on Seniors: Public Use Microdata File" is now available.
The file provides information at the provincial level on a wide variety of subjects, including oral health, care receiving, community service use, access to health care services, vaccines, smoking, alcohol consumption, general health and chronic health conditions.
Note to readers
The Canadian Health Survey on Seniors is a supplement to the Canadian Community Health Survey - Annual component. It collects information related to health status, health care services, supports, as well as social and health determinants for the Canadian population aged 65 years and older.
The combined data from 2019 and 2020 were released in The Daily on April 19, 2022.
Products
The product "Canadian Health Survey on Seniors: Public Use Microdata File," 2019/2020 (13250010), is now available from the Data module of the Statistics Canada website under the Public use microdata tab.
