Supporting children and youth’s well-being: Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth

Statistics Canada is conducting the Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth (CHSCY) until February 2, 2025.

This important survey aims to provide important insights on the health and well-being of children and youth aged 1 to 17 in Canada. It covers various topics such as mental health, challenges finding a health care provider, health care needs, long-term conditions and substance use.

The information collected will provide a better understanding of factors that impact the physical and mental health of children and youth, support decision-makers to monitor health trends, help inform policies and improve the support young people need to lead healthy lives.

For more information, or to start your survey if you have been selected, see Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth (CHSCY)
