Canadian manufacturers produced 1.3 billion cigarettes in November 2024, up 6.4% from October 2024. Cigarette production was 4.5% higher compared with November 2023.
Compared with October 2024, the total number of cigarettes sold decreased 4.0% to 1.1 billion in November 2024. The level of sales was 13.0% lower compared with November 2023.
