Canadian manufacturers produced 1.2 billion cigarettes in March 2025, up 20.7% from February 2025. Cigarette production was 3.4% lower compared with March 2024.
In March 2025, the total number of cigarettes sold increased 18.9% to 971 million from February 2025. The level of sales was 8.1% lower compared with March 2024.
