Canadian manufacturers produced 1.2 billion cigarettes in April 2025, up 4.4% from March 2025. Cigarette production was 0.3% higher compared with April 2024.
In April 2025, the total number of cigarettes sold increased 8.1% to 1.1 billion from March 2025. The level of sales was 17.0% lower compared with April 2024.
