Canadian manufacturers produced 1.0 billion cigarettes in June 2025, up 3.4% from May 2025. Cigarette production was 10.3% lower compared with June 2024.
In June 2025, the total number of cigarettes sold decreased 1.2% to 1.1 billion from May 2025. The level of sales was 1.7% lower compared with June 2024.
