Canadian manufacturers produced 1.1 billion cigarettes in September 2025, up 39.1% from August 2025. Cigarette production was 2.8% lower compared with September 2024.
In September 2025, the total number of cigarettes sold increased 7.3% to 1.1 billion from August 2025. The level of sales was 7.5% higher compared with September 2024.
