Canadian manufacturers produced 1.3 billion cigarettes in November 2023, up 17.8% from October 2023. Cigarette production was 8.2% lower compared with November 2022.
In November 2023, the total number of cigarettes sold increased 0.3% to 1.2 billion from October 2023. The level of sales was 1.3% lower compared with November 2022.
