Canadians are increasingly using mobile devices to access Government of Canada information and services. We know, we checked! Notably, 44% of basic users and 97.5% of advanced users told us they use their smartphones to access the Internet. What’s more, 22.2% of Canadians said they have accessed online government services more often since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The app project was born out of a desire to respond to this demand and better serve Canadians.
Since the launch, over 7,000 Canadians have downloaded the app and the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive with an average rating of 4.6 stars!
