CTEA output and use tables

The CTEA output and intermediate use tables are an extension of the SUT framework. All the inputs used in the production of OATS by non-transportation industries were redefined or moved over to the four newly created OATS industries by mode. Therefore, the CTEA output and intermediate use tables have all the same rows and columns as the published SUTs, with the addition of four new columns-one for each new OATS industry-and four new rows-one for each new imputed OATS product. This is shown in two images below.

By design, OATS products cannot be used by the OATS industries or the transportation industries. These products can be used only by non-transportation industries. They represent the OATS that a given non-transportation industry produces for its own use.

In the CTEA output table, each OATS industry has only one OATS output, shown as the diagonal values under the OATS industries in the second image below.
