To the question: In 2007, employment increased in all major industries, except manufacturing. Which of the following industries saw the largest increase?

The correct answer is C: Construction, which saw a net increase of 64,000 workers, followed closely by health care and social assistance, which added 61,000 workers.  

In fact, for every job lost in manufacturing, nearly two were gained in either construction or health care and social assistance.
