To the question: People with disabilities generally have a higher risk of being in low income than people without disabilities, but this risk is not the same for men and women. Is it higher for A. Men, or B. Women?
The correct answer is A: Being less active in the labour market, people with disabilities generally have a higher risk of being in low income, but this risk is relatively higher for disabled men: those disabled for four to five years have twice the risk of men without disabilities, and those disabled for six years, eight times the risk.
Among women, the risk is four times greater when they have been disabled for six years, but there is little difference in terms of the risk of low income for women with and those without disabilities for periods of less than six years.
