This figure shows the educational activities prior to entry to university for university graduates from the Class of 2009-2010. Results are presented separately for Quebec and the rest of Canada.

Of all bachelor graduates (100%), 5% of those in Quebec and 63% of those in the rest of Canada had no previous postsecondary activity. Four percent of those in Quebec and 55% of those in the rest of Canada entered university directly from high school. Two percent of those in Quebec and 10% of those in the rest of Canada delayed entry from high school.

Of all university graduates (100%), 95% of those in Quebec and 37% of those in the rest of Canada had previous postsecondary activity. Three percent of those in Quebec and 5% of those in the rest of Canada had incomplete previous postsecondary education.

Ninety-two percent of those in Quebec and 32% of those in the rest of Canada had completed their previous postsecondary education. One percent of those in Quebec and 1% of those in the rest of Canada had previously completed a trade/vocational program.  

Sixty-seven percent of those in Quebec and 12% of those in the rest of Canada had previously completed college.  Twenty-three percent of those in Quebec and 19% of those in the rest of Canada had previously completed university.
