Canadian corporate profits eased back in the second quarter after four quarters of modest growth.
Estimates of production of principal field crops, July 31, 2007
Prairie farmers reported that the production of major crops, with the exception of spring wheat and flaxseed, should improve from 2006. In spite of the dry conditions in the East, grain corn production should reach a record in both Ontario and Quebec.
