Certification rates¹ of apprentices who registered in a selected trade² ³ in 2010

The certification rate by apprenticeship program is calculated at a period equivalent to 1.5 times the length of each program duration.
2.
A trade must be a designated trade in two or more provinces to be considered a trade at the national level.
3.
For most trades at the national level, the normal program duration is four years. Exceptions are: welder (three years), development services workers (three years), hairstylist (two years) and educational assistant (two years).
4.
Only considered to be apprenticeshipable trades in Ontario.
