The purpose of this survey is to determine if specific government offices, as determined by Treasury Board Secretariat, are required to provide services in both official languages of Canada. The information may also be used by Statistics Canada for other statistical and research purposes.
Collection period:
Collection via Electronic Questionnaire is expected to start on November 15, 2016, with Computer-Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) collection starting on December 7, 2016. Collection for departments using cards to collect the data began in October 2014, but this mode of collection is not covered under the Statistics Act.
