Chart 16.2 is a bar chart showing total charitable donations from 2000 to 2010.

Donations rose from $5.4 billion in 2000 to a high of $8.6 billion in 2007. They declined to $7.8 billion in 2009 and rose to $8.3 billion in 2010.
