Chart 13.3 is a bar chart showing the percentage of childhood immigrants who arrived during the 1960s and 1980s who obtained a university degree, compared with their Canadian-born counterparts. Data are shown for males and females for each period. Immigrants were aged 12 and younger when they immigrated to Canada.

Among male immigrants who arrived in the 1980s, 31.6% obtained a university degree compared with 20.4% of their Canadian-born counterparts.

Among female immigrants, 39.8% obtained a degree compared with 29.7%.
